Muflers

If your car needs a new muffler, it won't exactly be cheap to replace, but it's not bad as far as car repairs. It can be done while you wait and if just the muffler needs to be replaced, then it won't cost you an arm and a leg. If you go to one of the muffler chains like Midas or Mineke, then they can have it done while you wait, but it will cost a little more. If you go to your regular mechanic, it might cost less but will take longer depending on how busy they are. If they tell you that any other part of your exhaust system needs to be replaced, then it can get expensive. So ask them to show you what needs to be replaced so that you can see for yourself that it's worn out.
