Windsheild Wipers

If you live in a climate where you get snow or freezing rain, then there's one important rule to follow regarding windsheild wipers. Don't turn on your wipers while they're frozen to your windsheild. This may seem obvious, but many people will just turn them on to get them unstuck rather than get out of the car and pull them free. If you turn them on while they're stuck firmly, then you could break the mechanism that makes them move. Then you will have broken windsheild wipers and it's more expensive to fix them than you might think.
