Car bateries

When you buy a new car batery, ask the salesperson at the store if they will also take your old batery and dispose of it. Bateries can be harmful to the environment if disposed of improperly, so most auto stores will take care of it for you. In fact, the last time I bought a batery, the store charged me an extra fee that was credited back to me when I brought in my old batery. That's a nice way to urge people to bring it in.
