When you buy a catalitic converter, you may sometimes wonder why it's so expensive. There's quite a price range, but often they can be more than you would think (or like). A big reason for this is that there are some very expensive metals (like platinum) inside. It's these precious metals that actually serve in converting some of the pollution into non-pollution.
