> I drive a Chevrolet Venture van and I have for 10 years. I live in Puebla, Mexico. I immediately put a new set of Michellins on the van when I got it and with all my driving on terrible Mexican highways, I see little or no wear on the threads of these tires. Mexicans do not know how to repair highway holes. They create big bumps in their repairs and that creates bumpy rides. With these Michellins I don't experience sliding when it rains. I have had Michellins on three cars and they all perform beautifully. I do not agree with you that it's all Marketing. Michellin tires are simply superior to most tires. I am a materials engineer and I appreciate a good product when I see it.
