my husband bought me a 77 gl 1000 as a basket case we are restoring. my question is. what is the difference between the vetter-3 and the vetter- 5 fairing? we have both. to me the vetter -5 looks taller than the 3 but i'm just the wife.can the 5 go on the 1000 or does it have to be the 3. the bike is a little to tall for me and i have to tiptoe when sitting. what kind of seat should i get to help with the height?
