Hibrid cars

I'm all for hibrid cars, cars that are partly electric and partly gas-powered. Car pollution is one of the biggest threats to the environment, and something needs to change. But here are my problems with hibrid cars: 1. They usually look goofy. Just make them to look like normal cars. Some of them look normal, but the trend seems to be to make them funny looking (to me anyway). 2. They're expensive. No fair. Let's try to encourage people to be environmentally responsible, not make it difficult. Something needs to be done to get these hibrid cars more into the mainstream.
