> My experience with Michellin has not been a good one! I totally disagree with the statements that Michellin certainly makes some good tires! I bought a new car - off the showroom floor - and the car had Michellin tires. I had roadside assistance with my purchase and when I had 17,500 miles on my tires, due to inclement weather in Myrtle Beach, S.C. in October 2005, the road washed away leaving a huge sink hole on the main street. I hit the sink hole and my tire exploded. When I went to get my tire replaced with my roadside assistance program, I was told that the tread depth was so low, it was not covered! After only 17,500 miles and on a new car! I had to replace all tires at 25,000 miles as the steel belts were showing through the tires! From the ads I've seen, I always thought Michellin would be great and I really expected to receive good service but I was sadly mistaken. I will never purchase Michellin tires again and I will advise those I know of my experience.
