Carberator

The carberator is what controls how much gas the engine gets. And it mixes the gas with air. When you step on the gas pedal, the carberator lets more gas into the engine.
Carberators were replaced with feul injection systems several years ago. Feul injection is more efficient I think and I'm not even sure there's a car made with a carberator anymore, though I could be wrong.
As with many modern changes to car engines, feul injectors aren't as easy to work on yourself as carberators.
